It seems like centuries since I last updated my wedding photography blog. I had the privilege to accompany so many exciting wedding celebrations that I just forgot about blogging ;-) Anywhow, I am glad to get some time to catch up the backlog.

Let’s start off with Sarahs und Benriahs beautiful wedding in Interlaken, Switzerland. Their marraige took place at the new registiry office just behind the reformed church. After the ceremony we moved up to Beatenberg (which is located high above Lake Thun) to shoot some scenic couple photos. Sarah & Benriah are both mountain climbers and truthfully loved the unique panorma of the Alpine peaks.

On December the 24th I had the pleasure to record Aeryns and Ryans wedding in Interlaken, Switzerland. The bride was dreaming of some outdoor couple pictures showing the beautiful old houses and the mountain panorama in the background. Unfortunately, the rainy weather made a moneky wrench in the works. But this affected the good mood in no way. We startet at the Hotel Victoria Jungfrau to take a few romatic shots in a exclusive atmosphere. After this the formal marriage took place at the registry office in Unterseen (Interlaken). Back at the Hotel, we decided to take some funny pictures in a casual style. Dear Zimmermann’s, this was an absolutely fantastic Chirstmas Weekend! I hope to see you soon – either in California or at the Restaurant Schützen in Steffisburg (where the best Chateaubriand can be eaten:-)

Quite a while ago a travelled to Interlaken (Switzerland) to photograph Corinne and Miguel’s civil ceremony. After the formalities at the registry office the wedding couple took a horse ride to the Hotel Beausite where the wedding party was welcomed to enjoy the drinks and snacks.

Dear Corrine and Miguel, I thank you for inviting me to spend your civil mariage with me and your guests. You picked a beautiful location! I wish you all the best for your future…

Die Trauung von Nathalie und Arash aus Interlaken war etwas ganz Besonders: Nach iranischem Brauch ist es üblich, dass sich die Eheleute küssen, die Ringe tauschen und sich gegenseitig mit den Fingern Honig aus dem Glas füttern.

Die angespannte Braut mit Ihrem Vater vor dem Einzug in die Kirche…
